Powerful and Profitable Customer Service Principles – Only At Autocare

With Autocare 2023 designed to boost business success, it is no surprise that the topic of customer service excellence will feature at Australia’s largest automotive training convention for technicians and workshop managers.

Autocare, proudly sponsored by mycar Tyre & Auto, will feature a dedicated workshop management training program for hundreds of workshop owners and managers wanting to take their business to the next level. Taking place on 9-10 June 2023 in Brisbane, attendees will learn from the largest collection of leading experts ever assembled in Australia – on the topics that matter.

With customer service a critical component of customer retention, reputation and referral for workshops, delivering a positive experience for customers is more critical than ever before. The session ‘Customer Service Excellence – The Power of Consistency and How to Achieve It’ will explore the breadth of customer service touchpoints, and the customer service principles that have stood the test of time. Attendees will learn how to create a positive customer service experience that is sustainable, effective and will turn happy customers into advocates for their brand and business.

Leading this important Autocare session will be two highly respected and experienced business leaders. Adele Coswello, the Chief Customer Officer at mycar Tyre & Auto has a diverse and unique skill set centred around customer service. Adele analysed and enhanced every customer touchpoint mycar has across its 275 stores and online. Ron Atkinson is Franchisee and Managing Director of the Future Auto Service Centres network. With over 40 years of experience in the automotive industry starting as an apprentice, through to operating his own successful businesses since 1989, Ron is passionate about the power of customer service.

“We know the importance of trust and the role it plays in building a satisfied and loyal customer base. Ensuring that not only our products and services, but the entire experience, exceeds expectations at every touch point is integral in retaining lifelong customers. This session will explore the mix of human and automated elements influencing customer expectations and service processes, and how to tailor the right approach to use in your business,” said Adele Coswello.

The session will form part of Autocare’s comprehensive Workshop Management Program, sponsored by Repco Authorised Service, designed to increase workshop efficiency, sustainability and profitability. Other valuable topics include: The future of the aftermarket, EV business essentials, relationship building, digital marketing, cyber-security, mastering difficult conversations, business planning and environmental sustainability.

A comprehensive Technical Training Program for technicians, sponsored by Auto Tech is the other major feature of Autocare 2023. Both training programs are complemented by an incredible free to industry trade show featuring 100 of Australia’s best brands, and a huge networking event. A separate, exciting new Modifications Summit for vehicle modifiers will also take place on 9th June at Autocare.
