Starting out as an aircraft mechanic in the Royal Australian Navy, Ken transitioned to the light vehicle sector where he cross-qualified as an automotive technician and auto electrician. Thirty years ago, Ken moved into training and in that time became Senior Trainer for Holden, Saab, Opel, Isuzu, and Hyundai. Ken also worked as Head Trainer at WesTrac, NSW, before semi-retirement. Ken is now a part-time trainer with WesTrac, NSW and CoolDrive Auto Parts, teaching on vehicle systems.
