Oscilloscope’s are a great tool for technicians to diagnose vehicle electrical issues. In this session, Clint Flower from Cooldrive will help you maximise your understanding of oscilloscopes for more efficient diagnosis.

This session focuses on:
• Why is an electrical image important
• How to test a high or low side driver
• What is PWM and where will you see it?
• Signal and control speed – the importance of using the correct time base

Clint Flower
With over 30 years continuous industry experience as an accomplished automotive trainer / teacher, Clint currently delivers courses on; Battery and Hybrid Electric Vehicle repair, post-Trade electrical, Diagnostics and Air Conditioning technology, with both TAFE NSW and Cool-Drive Auto Parts. Clint, started his career at GM Holden, before turning to a preferred career in training. Delivering course’s to both apprentices and experienced tradesman, Clint has trained and mentored 3 World-Skills national medallists.
