EVENT SPEAKERS
EVENT INFORMATION

Aftermarket product manufacturers and modifiers require manufacturer vehicle information, and the new MVIS law provides this access. So how do do you access this information? Rodger Nardi from the Australian Automotive Service and Repair Authority will explain the process, followed by a Q&A session, facilitated by Stuart Charity and joined by Grant Walden from Allin Towbars.

Stuart Charity

CEO

AAAA

Stuart Charity
Stuart Charity is a passionate, well respected industry leader, having served the automotive industry in a variety of roles across a distinguished career.  Stuart is CEO of the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA), which represents 4,100 member businesses and the entire automotive aftermarket, an industry which contributes $25B annually to the economy. Under Stuart’s leadership, the AAAA has championed many initiatives, services and regulatory reforms; improving the sustainability and growth of the industry. Stuart is particularly proud of the AAAA’s long fought battle, and success championing arguably the aftermarket industry’s largest issue, mandatory data sharing. A new mandatory data sharing law, implemented in 2022, was a game changer for the aftermarket, and the first law of its kind in the southern hemisphere. Stuart’s previous career experience has enhanced his knowledge and market understanding to make informed strategic decisions and offer respected insights. Before his time at AAAA, Stuart served as the Executive Director of the Society of Automotive Engineers Australasia (SAE-A). Earlier, as the Automotive Industry Specialist with Austrade, Stuart successfully assisted automotive component manufacturers to develop new export markets.
